Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled NAC and Wireless Network Specialist to join our IT team. The specialist will be responsible for managing network access control (NAC) and wireless network infrastructures, Aruba Clear-pass and Controllers, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across the organization. This role requires expertise in NAC solutions, wireless network technologies, and network security best practices. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Network Access Control (NAC) Management: 

• Design, implement, and manage NAC solutions to control access to the network based on device compliance and user authentication. Skilled experience on Products like HPE Aruba are preferred. 
• Monitor and maintain NAC systems to ensure optimal performance and security. 
• Develop and enforce NAC policies and procedures to protect network resources. 

• Wireless Network Management: 

• Design, deploy, and manage wireless network infrastructure, ensuring robust and secure wireless connectivity. 
• Configure and maintain wireless access points, controllers, and related hardware. 
• Perform regular wireless network assessments and optimizations to improve performance and coverage. 

• Network Security: 

• Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and threats. 
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of NAC and wireless networks. 
• Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. 

• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: 

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for NAC and wireless network issues. 
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve network-related problems and improve network stability. 
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures. 

• Training and Collaboration: 

• Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on NAC and wireless network best practices. 
• Work closely with other IT teams to integrate NAC and wireless solutions with existing network infrastructure. 
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of NAC and wireless network solutions and vendors. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field. 

• Experience: 

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on NAC and wireless networks. 
• Hands-on experience with NAC solutions (e.g., Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass) and wireless technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi 6, RADIUS). 

• Technical Skills: 

• Proficiency in configuring and managing NAC systems and wireless network infrastructure. 
• Strong understanding of network protocols, authentication methods, and encryption techniques. 
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds). 

• Certifications (Preferred): 

• Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) or equivalent certification. 

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) with a focus on wireless or security. 
• Other relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+
